About Ecuador - first post

Ever been to Ecuador? Ever heard of it? Any idea where Ecuador is located?
Among its neighbours, Ecuador is a tiny little country, and still it is about 8 times as big as my own country (Holland).
Ecuador has been really quiet for the last two months, but this has been very different.
